- North Carolina has announced the launch date of legal online sports betting. Beginning on March 1, users can register for sportsbooks, and on March 11, sports betting will officially be live.
- Earlier this month French Gaming and Lottery conglomerate, La Française des Jeux (FDJ), acquired Kindred Group for over $2 billion as FDJ looks to expand its geographical football and sports betting offerings, aiming to become a “European gaming champion”.
