Sports Data Supervisor (Full-time)


Location: Scottsdale, Arizona

Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and managing people and sports data. As part of the overall responsibilities this role will include researching, collecting, and analyzing sports information across leagues, teams, players, schedules, scores, team & player stats, projected stats, and more. Strong sports knowledge combined with deep insight intocompetition rules are key for the candidate’s immediate success in the role.

  • Recruitment and talent identification along with establishing training plans
  • Supervise staff and manage scheduling and attendance times
  • Planning and organization – assigning tasks, assignments
  • Ensure accuracy and quality while meeting deadline expectations
  • Monitor sports news
  • Manage sports data content across leagues, teams, players, statistics
  • Support internal divisions with data collection knowledge
  • Stakeholder in the enhancement and development of products and tools
  • Contribute to the formation of best practice Operational process and procedures
  • Potential to grow into larger role over time
  • 10-hour shift lengths, 4 days per week, includes weekends (can vary based on Operation needs)

Qualifications

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays – meet the needs of sports schedules
  • Proven ability to work remote while also managing a remote team
  • Experience in the sports industry or in an operations environment is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Operations environmen
  • Excellent writing and strong communication skills
  • Acute attention to details is a must
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
  • Technical software knowledge and/or experience is a huge plus
  • Passion for sports and advanced sports knowledge
  • Knowledge of sports betting terms and concepts is a plus
  • Knowledge of fantasy sports is a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Candidates local to the Phoenix metro area only

This data entry role is computer based at an office-based location.
