Product Updates and Enhancements
SportsDataIO announced all of its major enhancements and new products for the WNBA including Widgets, Aggregated Odds (with more sportsbooks), and better coverage + latency.
NBA + NHL Depth Chart Upgrade
SportsDataIO will no longer clear out depth charts for the NBA and NHL after the conclusion of each season. SportsDataIO will now update depth charts for the NBA and NHL based on transactions that occur throughout the offseason leading up to the pre/regular season action this Fall.

News Around The Industry
- Major news out of New York - NYC Senator Joseph P. Addabbo is making efforts to provide clarity to New York’s DFS laws and lift the ban on pick ‘em style contests with Senate Bill 9044.
- The State of Illinois passed a new bill that will raise the operator's tax rate from 15% to up to 40%, making it the second highest tax rate now in the country. This will drastically cut profits for operators in what is currently the third largest sports betting market in the US.
- Sports betting operator, Betr, has received initial approval to receive a sports betting license in the state of Maryland.
- Fueled by the new exciting names entering the league, the five WNBA games on ESPN networks this year have averaged 1.43 million viewers, up 181% from the same number of games last season - up 226% from last season’s average.
